Southern Arizona Baseball has a diverse baseball staff of former college players, coaches, and managers. Southern Arizona Baseball development programs are offered at a fraction of the cost of most elite player development programs across the country. To compete at the high school level and be considered for college programs, players need to participate in a development program that goes far beyond the level of play that traditional Little League offers.

Top baseball players play in excess of 100 games per year, attending invitation only tournaments and showcases.  In addition to the cost of the leagues, tournaments, showcases and the travel cost that come with participating in those events, some developmental baseball organizations charge in excess of $100 per month to be on the team.  Specialty practices or individual lesson cost even more money.  Baseball development has become a multi-billion dollar business that appeals primarily to very affluent parents.  Skilled players without resources are being left behind.  Southern Arizona Baseball program is committed to minimize the financial impact on players who are dedicated, have the ability, and the willingness compete at the highest level.   Fundraising and limited scholarships will be available to players and families without the financial ability to pay.
