The MLFA was formed in 2004 and the goal was to build the best association in the country at the Minor League level and produce a “True National Champion”  Over the course of 8 years the MLFA has produced past champions like the 2X MLFA Champion Daley City Renegades, Pacifica Islanders , Bay Tix 49ers, King CO Jags, and the only other 2X Champion  Central California Crusaders.

The MLFA Champions 2008 The Pacifica Islanders were back in the title game in Vegas vs the Georgia Firebirds Champions of the UFF. Islanders win the game and become the 3rd team in history of the MLFA to win 2 National titles.

In the ever-changing world of minor league football the Central Valley Football League champion Central-Cal Crusaders beat the Twin Cities Cougars 20-8 to claim the 2010"GameWear" Team Sports Minor League Football Alliance Championship.  The Crusaders are ranked #1 in the MLFA at 11-0.
