Express win the rematch with Raiders
12/13/2021

The Railer Express where looking to seek revenge from the previous meeting with the Raiders, where they suffered their third loss of the season. Both teams came out hard, but solid goaltending on both side kept the scoreboard blank for two periods. The Raiders came out in the third and scored early, but the Express replied three minutes later, with Kyle Lamont (3rd) being the recipient of a very nice three way passing play with Devon Matsumoto and Joel Delorme. The winner came at the the 13 minute mark when Express Nolan Van Den Bussche scored his first career MMJHL goal on a feed from Conrad Solypa and Connor Grunsten. Jason Kotchon (13th) scored on the open net to seal the deal 3-1, with the Express's 20th win of the season. League leading goaltender Justin Powers recorded his 11th win of the season stopping 18 shots.

Next action is Friday, December 17th,  at East End Arena when the River East Royal Knights pay a visit, as the Express close out the 2021 portion of the schedule.
