Foster vs. Barbers Hill

 

Foster's Reid Garrett spun a 2-hit shutout against H5AB-4A #1 Barbers Hill in a 6-0 Falcons victory. Foster's Conner Parker hit a home run and drove in 2 and scored a run, while Riley Hood was a perfect 3-3 with a triple, 2-RBI, and 1-Run. The series resumes Friday at Spring Branch Memorial High School with game 2 scheduled to start at 7 pm.

 

Montgomery vs. Tomball

 

Montgomery's Gunner Vaught smacked solo home run and Ty Boland drove in 1 with an RBI/1B early in the game but the drama was yet to come. Tomball's Dillon Menville drove in a 1st inning run on a ground out. It appeared that's all the Cougars would get but in the 7th inning with 2-on and 2-out, Ishmael Edwards launched a 2-strike pitch over left field giving Tomball the 4-2 win. The series resumes on Friday in Montgomery with a 1st pitch scheduled for 7 pm.

 

Pearland vs. Jersey Village

 

The Oilers scored first in the 2nd inning when Derek Sliwinski put down a SAC reaching on an error and driving in Jacob Barfield. The Falcons quickly matched the Oilers run in the bottom of the 2nd when Cole Frost drove in JJ Sliepka with an RBI/1B. The Game would stay deadlocked at 1 until the bottom of the 6th when Jersey Village catcher, Robbie Rojas led off with a triple and was immediately driven home on a Mikey Sliepka RBI/1B. Thats all Kirby Peek would need as he closed out the Oilers in the 7th capping off his complete game victory. The series continues Friday @ Clear Lake with the 1st pitch scheduled for 7:30

 

Dulles vs. Cy Ranch

 

The Vikings would score first in the 2nd inning when Dakota Mills hit a SAC-Fly to centerfield driving in Nick Hernandez. Cy Ranch would quickly tie it at 1 in the bottom of the 2nd with an RBI/2B off the bat of Dalton Stark scoring Guerra running for Derek Dickerson who earlier reached on an error. The score would remain the same until Dulles exploded for 5 runs in the top of the 6th. Caden Williams doubled driving in Darryn Sheppard who had walked before him. Zack Belski would score on a passed ball after reaching on a HBP. Nick Hernandez would double scoring Williams, Jaylen Hubbard would them smack a 2R/HR over left field. Nick Hernandez spun a masterpiece in his 7-inning complete game surrendering only 1-run, on 1-hit, while striking out 10. The series resumes at Katy's Tigers Field at 4:30 pm on Friday.
