MCBL Post Season Tournament Underway !

After being rained out on Saturday, the 2015 post season tournament started on Sunday.

In the first game, the Baltimore Rays battled the Putty Hill Panthers.  The game was close until the 8th when a few fielding missed opportunites by the Rays and a few timely hits by the Panthers enabled them to push across 7 runs to finish out a 12-3 victory over the Rays.

In the nightcap, the Baltimore Chop kept the score close the entire game against Dig In Baseball.  The Chop had the tying run on second base in the bottom of the ninth but couldn't push is across falling to Dig In 7 - 5.

Tonight (weather permitting) the # 5 seeded Dig In takes on the # 1 seeded BCC Big Train Stars.  In the other game, the # 3 Putty Hill Panthers take on the # 2 seeded KOA Sports Warriors.

From this point on its a double elimination tournament.
