Why donate to the TASO-HOUSTON Baseball Umpires Scholarship Tournament?

 

1. June 16, 2011

TASO HOUSTON Chapter of the Baseball Umpires announced the awarding of nearly $50,000 ($49,500) in scholarships from their Annual Baseball Umpires Scholarship Tournament.

 

2. On Wednesday June 26, 2013

TASO-Houston Chapter of Baseball Umpires awarded 21 students each a $2000 scholarship from the proceeds of their annual tournament. The 2012 tournament featured 96 teams allowing $42,000 in scholarship monies to be awarded.

 

3. TASO's generosity and Teams, & Corporate support has allowed the TASO-HOUSTON Umpires to donate over 90% of proceeds to scholarships
