Tournament Update # 5:  Historic Finals

Well, in this crazy year of 2020, it should come as little surprise that MCBL would see an unprecedented tournament finals.

One finalist is set:  DigIn Baseball.   DigIn will set history as the lowest seed

(# 7) ever to appear in the MCBL post-season tournament finals.   They last appeared in the tournament finals as a # 3 seed in 2013.

The other finalist will be one of the two most storied franchises in MCBL:  either the Baltimore Chop or the defending champion Putty Hill Panthers.  Both are the only teams to have won more than one post-season tournament.  In fact, both have won three post-season tournaments.  

Regardless of the outcome, we'll have a new record set......either the lowest seed ever to win the tournament or a team with a record four MCBL post-season tournament championships.
