Galveston Ball TORS
The Tors will be returning 7 starters back from a team that showed continued improvement in the shortened 2020 season. The Tors expect to build on a promising 2020 season, and continued success in a VERY difficult and newly realigned 22-5A. The Tors will be lead by 3 year starter Sr. Chris Orton (CF-RHP), along with returning starters including Sr. Ryan Blacketer (RHP-INF), Sr. Nicholas Smecca (INF), Jr. Renard Simmons (1B-OF), Sr. Gabe Freeman (C-OF), Sr. Andy Ramos (INF-RHP), Jr. Miah Enriquez (INF-P), and Sr. Doug Lang (1B-RHP). The Tors also expect to see big contributions from returning lettermen Jr. James Trimble (RHP-INF), and Jr. Mac Livanec (C).

From the dugout: “We have several players who are Seniors this year, that were huge contributors as Sophomores on our 2019 playoff team that finished 2nd in 23-5A. We will need those guys to have good years in order to make 2021 a successful campaign. 2020 was a huge disappointment as Covid sidetracked our effort to make the playoffs for a 10th straight year. Even though our re-aligned district 22-5A is going to be a tough one, we feel like we are going to be up for the challenge of competing every night and making Galveston proud.” - Coach Ferrell
