Semi Thriller !!

In a nail biting finish, the Koa Sports Green Wave ousted the East Division Champion Baltimore Clippers 8-5 to advance to the MCBL Post-Season Tournament Finals.

A big 6 run sixth inning gave Koa an 8-3 lead into the bottom of the ninth.  But the gritty Clippers never gave up.  They plated 2 runs and loaded the bases to have the potential game winning run at the plate.   Koa had to change pitchers and ultimately survived to win 8-5.

In the other semi-final series, BCC Big Train and the Putty Hill Panthers were all notted 5-5 before BCC exploded for 6 runs in the top of the eigth inning.  BCC finally prevailed 11-7 to tie their semi-final series.  The rubber match will take place (weather permitting) on Thursday at Kennedy High School at 5:30 pm.
