Brody Lindsey had a simple approach going into his first at bat yesterday: "Hit a home run," he said "we talked about this in the cage earlier, actually." Hitting third in the Express' order, the third baseman's two run homer put the Express on the board for the first time in what would turn out to be a very high scoring affair vs the Putty Hill Panthers.
After a Nelson Grajales double, Lindsey cut the Panthers' lead in half with his moonshot. The Express would take the lead for good on a two run single from Jeremy Patchett in the third. As part of the offensive turnout, Patrick Colbert tripled as well, and Jake Witter launched two doubles

Brody Lindsey crushed a two run homer
Evan Hassinger, the game's winning pitcher, held the Panthers to just one run in three relief innngs. The righty was steady in holding off Putty Hill's bats.
Lindsey was named player of the game for his homer and defense at third base.
The Express take on BBA next on Tuesday at 6 PM.
