Finals Set

7/24/2026

In a well played game, the Baltimore Clippers edged the Olney Dusters to punch their ticket to the 2026 MCBL Post-Season Tournament finals where they'll face the # 2 seed Putty Hill Panthers.

Tonight's game went down to the wire with the tying run on second base for the Dusters.  But the Clippers prevailed to set up the best two-out-of-three championship games.

Actually, the most that can be played will be two games.....as the Clippers enter the finals already with one loss.  They'll have to beat the Panthers twice to secure the trophy.

Our prediction:   one of the teams on Saturday will score five runs.   Why?   Look at the four tournament game scores the Clippers have played:

           Clippers 5     Dusters 0

           Clippers 8     Chop     5

           Clippers 3     Dusters 5

           Clippers 5     Dusters 4

Or you might just want to play the lottery.....using a 5 of course.

See ya at the ballfield!
