About the Central Mass Panthers

The Central Mass Panthers were founded in 2019 as a vehicle for young ladies to play college softball. We are dedicated to training, developing and helping our players understand all aspects of the game. We have put supporting one’s teammates on and off the field as a priority to be on the team.

Unlike other organizations we do not have multiple teams.  We consist of one 18U team made up of girls ages 14 to 18.  All resources go into this one team.

Our twelve players come from eight different high schools from Central Massachusetts. We have a great mix of players from different communities which is more representative of a future college experience. The bonds that have been created between these girls will follow them through their next stages of life well after high school.

The Panthers enjoyed a very successful 2020 season despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.  We were fortunate to win our first tournament we ever played in at Wallingford, Ct. at the 18U level, even though our team was 16U that year. We proceeded to play over 35 games and posted a winning record.  The girls continued to improve throughout the season. The coaches were impressed with the players’ work ethic and toughness.

The 2021 schedule features 5 showcase Tournaments throughout the New England and New York area against the toughest 18U teams in the Northeast.
