Eureka Wildcat Hockey Club was formed in 2002 with a Varsity team.  The club exists first and foremost for the players; to provide students of Eureka High School the opportunity to compete in and enjoy the sport of ice hockey at the high school level.

 

In 2005, the Eureka Hockey Club enjoyed tremendous growth and formed a C-Team of 6th, 7th, 8th graders to compete in the Thompson League.

 

In the 2006-2007 season, the Wildcat Varsity team won first place in the South Division in Mid States High School Hockey League with a record of 14-5-1.  Ranked 16th of 45 teams and placed the Wildcats in the top division, the Challenge Cup.

 

Also in 2006-2007, the second year C-team Wildcats took first place in the Thompson League with a record of 17-2-1.

 

For the 2007-08 season,

Varsity:      15-3-3, Second Round of the Wickenheiser Cup

JV (new):   16-2-2, 2^nd place Thompson League, 2^nd place playoffs

C team:      12-4-4, 3^rd place Thompson League, 2^nd place playoffs

 

For the 2008-09 season,

Varsity:      13-6-2; South Division Champs, 13-1

JV:             16-4

C team:      12-5-3

 

For the 2009-10 season,

Varsity:      18-7-3, Wickenheiser Cup Finalist 

JV:             11-5-2

C team:      14-1-4, Gold Level Playoff Finalist

 

For the 2010-11 season,

Varsity:      21-6-3, #8 Challenge Cup, Advance 2nd Round

JV:             8-6-4, 1st yr Midstates JV, Silver Playoff Champs

JVD:          15-4-4, Gold Level Playoff Finalist

C team:     12-4, Gold Level Semi-Finalist

          C Team:     11-3-1; 3rd place, Playoff Semi-Finalist

 

The Eureka Wildcats play such teams as Lafayette, Marquette, Rockwood Summit, Westminster, Chaminade, Duchesne, Lindbergh, MICDS, Oakville, Seckman, schools from both Fort Zumwalt and Francis Howell school districts...just to name a few.
