Club News: This is the first year that Eureka has made it past the second round of the Wickenheiser Cup Series, losing to CBC three years ago in the Challenge Cup, Whitfield two years ago in the second round of the Wick and Duchesne last year in double overtime. Go Wildcats!

Wickenheiser Cup Final at Scottrade Center: Oakville (V) vs. Eureka (H), February 24, 5:30 PM - Gates open at 4:30. Flyers will be posted throughout the high school, we will be selling tickets to students/staff on Tuesday and Wednesday in the EHS Commons during lunch. Admission is $11 per person, all persons, sorry no discounts, no coupons, no passes...but you can watch both games. You may walk up and buy tickets at Scottrade as well. Parking garage will be open, but we don't know what the charge will be, if any.

More Scottrade: At this point, since Eureka is the home team, our players will be sitting on the Blue's bench. Our plans are to sit directly ACROSS from this bench in the stands. Look for a banner and/or Mr. Robinson.

Media Relations: Fox Sports Midwest will air both games live through it's stream on the internet at www.foxsportsmidwest.com. The online airing will be followed by tape-delayed airings on Fox Sports Midwest (see http://www.midstateshockey.org/ for program schedule, set your DVR.) Tune in Live to 1380 AM or www.team1380.net to listen to both games.

Varsity News: Congratulations are in order for Seniors MJ Arsenault, Matt Vollmer and Tyler Stewart for representing Eureka on the South Conference White Team at the Mid States All Star Game. Game is February 28th, 4:00 PM at Webster.

Developmental League Playoffs: The balance of the schedule will be posted upon completion of the first round games, which run through Tuesday. I am hearing a rumor that the playoffs WILL NOT be completed this weekend due to youth league End of Season games (I am just the messenger.) If we need additional practice ice next week, we will let you know.

Reservations are trickling in...thank you. Advanced reservations are a must and payment sure makes things go much smoother. The new floor plan of the Community Center means seating is limited. We are keeping the website updated in the news section, "Trivia Night," which you can find right on the Home Page. There are several news items including Adult Work Schedule, Table Reservations, Auction Donations that have already been updated. Check it out and thank you.

We need a couple more families to lend a hand. We need one to Chair the Auction and one to Chair the Cashier/50-50 Raffle duties. Very little time is required prior to the night of the event. Give me a call or shoot me an email, thanks.

These results matched Eureka with DeSmet White in the Semi's and a 5-1 loss...but the score is misleading. GET SOME REST BOYS!

JV Practice on Tuesday and Varsity Practice on Wednesday will be considered OPTIONAL. We will have a Board Member and/or Coach present to supervise, but there will be no organized drills. Full gear is required. If we have enough goalies, a scrimmage would be fun. No gear, no play.
