Stockings: Boy, there are really some nasty looking stockings out there!! Cost will be $24 per set and we will order all at the same time. New jerseys will include new set of stockings and there will be no charge for black practice stockings. Confirmed for new stockings: Carlson, Janssen, Janssen, Jones, Reineri, Sample.
Jersey Update: New game jerseys are in. I will coordinate pickup and distribution. If you are currently borrowing a loaner jersey, please have it washed. You will receive your new jersey after your loaner is returned to me. Look for me at this week's practices.

Stockings: In looking at the condition of our game stockings over the past few weeks, I was rather surprised that only a couple of you ordered new stockings. What do you say that everyone take another look and reconsider. Frankly, a new set should be required each year. If you wish for your son to wear stockings without holes, please let me know by the end of THIS week. Cost will be $24 per set and we will order all at the same time. From Coach K - "Last night at Varsity practice we were missing a large number of players. Most that were missing had told me that they would not be there. A few said nothing, no phone call or e-mail. This cannot happen anymore. If you miss practice with no message to myself or Mr. Robinson, who is our team manager, you will miss game time. My cell number is 314-406-6971, if I don't answer leave me a message, I check it right before I go into the rink for practice. I am going to be scheduling a team meeting/chalk talk on a Monday evening starting @ 6:30 to 7:30/8:00."

Every family should have received a ticket voucher to the St. Louis Bandits vs. Springfield Jr. Blues on Friday, 9/12, at 7:15 PM. The Hockey Academy offered these to us and the voucher admits your entire family. Additional copies will be available at practice this week. We are not making this an official team function, but I have heard that several will be attending.
Final bag order: Blank (goalie size), Boyer, Green, Hanselman, Hooper, Mikes, Swiger, Wambolt. Please notify me immeditately if I am missing someone, thanks.

JV/C team meeting Thursday, Sept 4th, 7:00 - 8:00 PM in room 502 at Eureka High School. Coach Holder is requesting every JV and C team player listed on the practice roster and at least one parent attend. If you have a conflict, please email Coach directly at mholder@holder-grp.com. Room 502 is adjacent to the old gym near the aerobics room.
Club Notes:
1. Reminder to reply to Mark Robinson regarding Mid States Hockey game passes. See Bulletin Board (B-Board) on the website for details.
2. Any player wishing to purchase a Eureka Hockey Bag, please let me know by the end of the week (9/5/08). They are purple/gold and have the Eureka logo on one side with the player's number on the other. Cost is $62.25 payable to Eureka Hockey Club. Goalie bags are available at 44". Again, please let me know and give your check to me or contact me directly, thanks.
3. I have last year's jerseys to return with the new power cat patches. I have seen a few of you and will catch the rest this week at practice or at the game this weekend. Jerseys ordered this year are not in yet.
4. If you have not yet paid for the Hockey Academy, please bring payment with you this Wednesday to Mark Robinson, thanks.

When you find a hole sponsor you can fill out that form and mail it along with a check payable to Eureka Hockey to Sheila Reichle, her address is contained on the Hole Sponsor form.
Any and all gift items/vouchers/certificates/donations can be handed over to Ron & Kim Reineri, or to Mark Laugeman. Or to any committee member for that matter, see if you can bring us something!

Midstates will be selling the 10 Game Passes this year, we have had an overwhelmingly positive response. The price will be $30.00 which will be a $10 savings (game admission will be $4). The pass will include a coupon for $10 off a $50 purchase at Total Hockey. Passes must be paid for in advance and I ask that you contact your parents, friends and students, collect the money and place your order for the passes. As soon as I receive your order the passes will be mailed back to you. Your club will receive admission credit for the number of passes sold by the club.
After about a month or so into the season the passes will be available for purchase through the tickets sellers at the games.

Greetings All,
Here is the first installment in a series of weekly emails for the upcoming hockey season(s).
This year we will be sending one email to the entire Club with various sections, i.e., weekly schedule, varsity, junior varsity, C team, fundraising, etc. We hope to provide all the announcements once a week (on Monday) so as to not overload your inbox. These emails will be coming from me, so be sure to add scottlink@fandctrucks.com to your safe sender list. From time to time, various committee heads might have the need to send an email blast to the club.
If you are receiving this email to an address that you wish to have removed from our distribution list, please reply and let me know accordingly. Also, if you need an address added, please do the same. Since this is the first one, please allow me a couple of times to get things arranged.

Reminder, no practice this week.
Expect a JV & C team combined meeting sometime in early September.
1. Please complete your registration if you have not done so already. On the website, "News" tab, "Registration" section. Mail or email to Kris.
2. Please send in your first league installment if you have not done so already. Same as above. Mail to Jeff.
3. If your name is listed on both varsity and JV practice rosters, send in second payment for "varsity swing." If your name is listed on both the JV and C team practice rosters, send in second payment for "JV swing." If your name is listed on only one roster, send in second payment for that team. As rosters are adjusted before season begins, you will be advised accordingly and payments can be adjusted also. Payment due August 31st, see website "Registration" section.
4. As of right now, practice days for the season will look like this,

ST. LOUIS - The Missouri Department of Transportation will close westbound I-64/Route 40 between Long Road in St. Louis County and Route 94 in St. Charles County for an inspection on Saturday, Sept. 27- Sunday, Sept. 28. Crews will close the road both days from 5:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. The entrance ramp from Chesterfield Airport Road to westbound I-64/Route 40 and the entrance ramp from Boone's Crossing to westbound I-64/Route 40 will also be closed. All work is weather permitting.
