Scott and I split up the task of updating the website in regards to the
practice schedule for the rest of the season. Once the Thompson League
Game Schedule came out we knew that we would have to make adjustments in
the practice schedule, and after meeting with the coaching staff we have
the practice schedule completed.
The practice schedule is set for the rest of the season unless there are
game changes at a later date.
With three teams, (four sheets of ice a week),10 of our Varsity players
that don't swing down to JV or 4 players that only play C team, it is
very difficult to organize practice schedules so we use all the ice
effectively. Some of our Sunday night practices at 8:45 will be sold
back to Queeny or to another team because we have too many conflicts to
use the ice.
Please check the website on a regular basis to verify that you have the
current schedule for games and practices. There will be reminders sent
out on a regular basis. As you navigate through the website, If you see
anything that you don't understand or if we have entered a stat
incorrectly, please bring it to our attention.

The numbers have been sewn on the new jerseys. The new embroidered patches arrived and the yellow is a little off in color...too far off to be acceptable by us and Total Hockey. THESE patches will be temporarily sewn on the new jerseys until the corrected patches arrive on a rush order. At that time, we will have to collect the jerseys and have the patches swapped. This will likely happen in the next 3 to 4 weeks. In the meantime, we will have new jerseys to wear for the upcoming season openers for ALL teams.
In answer to your next question, Total Hockey sent 2 actual existing jerseys from me (both home and away) to the patch company. The company was told to match exactly. Yes, the size and design are excellent; however, the yellow is just a little to yellow. We could have probably gone forward since the existing jerseys will eventually be cycled out of the program. But when you look at the patch next to the jersey, it is not the right match.
As far as anyone can tell from the stands, you probably won't even notice.
