CLUB NEWS: Both Tuesday and Wednesday will be used as Varsity practice and Coach Markovitz will list the players he needs at practice. As we prepare for our Challenge Cup games, these practices will not be full squad practices. Also, there may be a possibility of a team meeting for those dressing in Friday night's game to discuss strategies. Thanks, Coach Markovitz.
VARSITY NEWS: We will be having the varsity playoff dinner Friday, 3:30 PM at Poor Richards in Eureka. All players that dressed in a varsity game are welcome to join. Parents are also welcome. Please RSVP to Mark Robinson at ROCKO18576@aol.com ("Reply to All" will work) BY TUESDAY 5:00 PM, so we can let them know how many we will have. We don't want too much food, but we want enough.
TRIVIA NIGHT: Thank you to everyone who contributed in some way. We hope a good time was had by all. Congrats to the Carlson/Gardner table for their first place finish and donating their winnings. I think the ballot box was stuffed on the "best themed table." We will do a summary and post in the next few days.
Keep your eye open for the possibility of last minute practice changes due to inclement weather.

Trivia night is only 6 days away!! We still have tables left in case anyone wants to join in. It is not too late. Unfortunately, we are behind last year.
Don�€™t forget to bring your checkbook for the evening and dollar bills for the variety of different games that will be played besides trivia.
To Do List:
1. Have you paid for your table yet? Pre-payment makes things much easier for all.
2. Thanks to everyone who has signed up for a work duty. If you are playing that night and notice something needs to be done, please help out.
3. Every family is expected to donate a bottle of booze and 6 pack of beer for the event. You can bring it Tuesday for the Varsity game or your team practice this week.
4. An item for the silent auction is appreciated. Great time to re-gift.

You may also bring your booze or auction items this Saturday during set-up between 10:00 AM �€“ Noon. Unfortunately, we are way behind last year.
Remember all of the boys are expected to work the event. At the moment no one has told Shalene that their child will not be attending. They should wear their black jersey and either casual slacks or nice jeans. They will be assigned a variety of tasks for the evening. They need to be at the community center by 6:00 PM.
We could still use a couple people to help with the silent auction on Saturday morning.
Susan Green will be coordinating the last minute items that will be put together on Saturday, beginning at 10:00 AM. We could use baskets and gift wrapping supplies. If you are working then, please bring scissors and tape. Feel free to lend a decorating hand if you have one.

Greetings Everyone,
Well Trivia Night is just two weeks away and it is now time to kick it into gear. There are lots of things to be done. We could still use a few more folks to help assemble the silent auction items on Saturday from 10:00 - Noon. Please be sure you have read the information on the website, "News - Trivia Night." This will tell you what every family is responsible for, including the players. Remember �€“ they are expected to be there to work. They will be wearing their black jersey and blue jeans. This is a fund raiser for them and they need to represent the club in a positive manner. If your player is not available to attend, let Shalene know, thanks.
The most important item is we need your table reservations. The website has a current list of reserved tables, but we still need more (at this point, ten down, ten to go.) Please let us know if you plan on having a table and for how many. The sooner, the better. We want to sell out the event but don�€™t want to be too crowded.
If you would like to drop off your bottle of beverage and your six pack of beer ahead of time, please place it on our front porch with your name. Call (314-307-1114) and let me know you are doing this so I can be sure to grab it so it doesn�€™t freeze. You can also bring it to any game and give to your team manager.
You can also leave your item for the silent auction. Again, place your name on the item so we can mark your name off the list. Some items we have had in the past have been blankets, grills, gift certificates to various places, jewelry, food, etc. I will have a box on the front porch. Our address is 110 Harbour Pointe Dr or Susan Green at 302 Harbour Pointe Dr. We are located in the Landings of Lake Chesterfield subdivision off of Old State Road.
If you are not able to provide these items ahead of time, be sure to bring it by Saturday morning the 29th between 10:00 AM and Noon.
Thank you to those who have volunteered. We can�€™t do this event without you. This is always a fun event and don�€™t worry, you will definitely know some of the answers. If you have any questions, please don�€™t hesitate in calling. We look forward to having fun, laughing and raising some money for the club. This helps in keeping our costs down.
