Friendly Game: Monday, 12/20, 7:00 PM at South County. Mid-States Club Hockey Association has selected Eureka to participate in a very special game against the Gateway Locomotives. The Locomotives are members of the American Special Hockey Association and typically travel great lengths to participate in games. Mid-States will provide the ice and Eureka C Team will provide the players. It is the hope of the Board and the Coaching Staff that many of you would be able to attend. In lieu of an explanation, I have posted several videos on the website for your enjoyment. From what I have heard, it is truly a wonderful experience for both player and parents. Hope you can make it.

Sponsor Book: Now that pictures are completed and all missing players have been "Photoshopped" in to our groups, we are reviewing the final copy as we speak. It is amazing what can be done with photo editing. Thanks to all of you that helped support this fundraiser.

Final League Fees: Each family will be receiving their final statements in the next week or so. These final amounts will reflect league fees owed and ad book credits/buyouts, as applicable. Amounts will be due and payable in full by December 15th to avoid any interruption of playing time, thank you.

Varsity News: Coach Markovitz is looking for players or parents or siblings or whomever to volunteer their services to film some of our games. Not every rink gives us the opportunity to have a good location to film. We have upcoming games at South County and Hardee's Ice Plex that both work well. Please let me know if you are willing to help, thank you.

Window Clings: We are going to provide one (1) for each player (2 players per family, 2 clings.) Additional ones can be purchased from your team manager for $5 each. We will get them dispersed to the appropriate manager. You will be contacted in person at an upcoming game when they are available.

Looking ahead to the Holidays: Just like games, practices are not cancelled during school breaks. Should a conflict arise...you know the procedure.

Well, the season is upon us. All the hard work, all the practices, all the drills...time to go to work! Eureka Hockey has come along way in a very short time. We are 1 of only 4 teams in the Mid States Club Hockey Association consisting of 42 clubs that is fielding four competitive teams! Please represent the club in a positive manner and practice good sportsmanship.

Reminder - all players are required to contact their respective coach anytime a team activity will be missed. Check the website for dress lists for every game.

Jersey Recall: I understand that this year's new black jerseys need to be modified slightly. Apparently, the powercat on the shoulder cap is upside-down. Total Hockey understands the urgency of this project.

League Fees: Come on folks. We have enough to do to keep this club running. We are not bill collectors and should not have to be. Payment dates were established in July.

Varsity News: One of the 2 team practices per week will be used to prep for an upcoming game and as such Coach Markovitz will post on the website who he wants at each practice. Not sure how this will play out given our JVC schedule, but we want to give the parents a heads up.

Texas Hold 'Em: A big THANK YOU to Chuck Bayless for coordinating this event. Thanks to the volunteers for giving your time. We had about 40 players and a good time was had by all. The final table of eight finished with our Club being represented by Nick Sample in fifth place, Clay Link in sixth and Darryl Weinrich in eighth.

Tailgate Confirmed: Eureka High School, 10/29, before the football game (last regular season home game.) The Club will provide sandwiches, chips, soda and water. Now, this is not an "all you can eat" dinner buffet and we can't feed your friends and neighbors, but all players, siblings and parents of Eureka Hockey are invited to stop by some time between 5:30 - 6:30.
