1. ALL PLAYERS--Register Online with USA Hockey
All players (House and Comp) must register online with USA Hockey at www.usahockeyregistration.com Print the confirmation page and bring to Registration with the forms noted below or use to register with MHA online. The $45.00 charge covering mandatory enrollment with USA Hockey and the Alaska State Hockey Association is not included in MHA's fees. Children 6 and under to not pay this fee, but still need to register online.
2. Players new to MHA must bring a copy/mail a copy of their birth certificate that MHA can keep along with their registration forms.
Comp Team Tryouts/Registration (August 1-2, 2015)
1. Players must be registered with USA Hockey for the 2015-2016 season.
2. Players attend Comp Team Tryouts--Tryout fee $50, payable first night, times on website front page.
3. Coaches will contact players (list post/e-mail) after tryouts to announce rosters.
4. Players making the team need to register online using the Comp Registration Form (Click Register/Pay Here tab) by Monday, August 3
FEES: $345 Registration, $175 Jerseys/Socks
House/Recreational Team Registration Instructions
Parents have two options to register with MHA:
1. Attend House/Recreational Team In-Person Registration--TBD (McDonald Center). Bring USA Hockey Confirmation Page and Birth Certificate (new players). If you want to complete the forms in advance, click FORMS at the top menu to download. (Forms will be available by August 11th)
2. Register/Pay online (TAB at top) using PayPal (processes Credit, Debit/Check cards) active August 11, 2015. Online registrants need to print and complete the Consent to Treat and Code of Conduct Forms posted under the FORMS tab. Completed forms for each player can either be mailed to MHA or left in the dropbox at Registration.
House Tier III Team and Mite RED Evaluations-- TBD
House players with advanced skills can attend Evaluations to be considered for a Tier III team or the Mite RED team. Players attend BOTH days, must be registered with MHA prior to skating and be in full equipment.
Fee: $30 payable at the door, first day.

Late Registrations
MHA can accept registrations (contingent on space availability) until December 31st if players miss official registration dates. Please keep in mind the season begins Sept/October and fees will not be pro-rated. Players missing Evaluations will automatically be placed on a Tier IV team (unless other arrangements are made), but can contact Tier III coaches afterwards to arrange for a tryout, if space is still available on their team (15 players, 2 goalies maximum House, Comp teams vary based on coach).

If your player is placed on a Tier III team (excluding Midgets) or the Mite RED team, an additional fee Tier III fee will be due October 15th.
DISCOUNTS:
Discounts are available to families with multiple children participating with MHA--Full Cost for the first player per family (at the highest cost), 10% discount for 2nd and 3rd player per family and the 4th child is FREE. Discounts do not apply to Jersey prices.
PAYMENT PLANS:
MHA offers a payment plan dividing registration fees into three payments (1/3 due with forms, 1/3 due October 15th and the final 1/3 due November 15th)--this form is posted under the FORMS tab.
SCHOLARSHIPS:
Scholarships, paying a portion of registration fees, are available. The application is posted under the FORMS tab--please note due date on application.
