HITTERS 1ST ANNUAL YOUTH BIG RO - 7/12- 7/14 2024 at Nash Park.
I'm a 14u coach that has a questions about why there was no Umps scheduled for the 1st day of this tournament. No Umps for both 13u and 14u all day long. They finally got some called Umps for some of the games but no base Umps. There was 2 options, have the coaches call balls and strikes or reschedule to Sunday. So the coaches called balls and strikes the rest of the day or until the called in Umps showed up. Teams have paid a lot of money to register for these tournaments. There should be Umps. My team had an 8:00am game on Friday 7/12. I got there at 6:30 and the person that was in charge of running this tournament was all set up at the entrance and collecting $5 from all the family members there to watch. I thought it was kind of strange to see him there so early collecting money, the guy in charge, himself. Looking back, he should have been making should his Umps were scheduled. I can see 1 or 2 not showing up but, zero, none??? Let's do some math. You need 8 Umps for 1 time slot. Say each ump gets paid $80 a game X 8 umps that's $640.00 each time slot. Times that by 6 (that's how many time slots Friday 7/12 had) equals $3,840.00. HOLY CRAP That's alot of money!! Now where does that money go!?? Is Hitters hurting for money?? And also to put the cherry on top, it rained Saturday night and he cancelled all the games for Sunday at 5am Sunday morning. That's strike 3, dude, you're out. How does that guy can sleep at night??? Buyers be where!!!

Hi
Please hide personal details on the guestbook, like user's e-mail addresses.
RJ I just want to say that my family would like to thank you, Jennifer and the entire hitters organization. When Street and myself brought the boys to you 4 years ago you told them that their beanstalk had to be taller than anybody's else and if they worked as hard as they have ever worked in life, that they could possibly walk out of hitters with some college money. Well on June 21 that dream became a reality and Malik committed to Northern Illinois University. Malik understands that now he has to work even harder, but I wanted to reach out to you and tell you how appreciative we are and that 4 years ago when I bought my son to your organization, that was the best baseball decision I could have made for my son. 4 years later he is still standing and still wanting to work harder to achieve all of his academic and athletic goals. This is just the the beginning. Thanks a ton RJ and Hitters Baseball. Keith

I would like to take the time to thank you and your awesome organization for the opportunities you gave Josh. My son came to Hitters at a crucial time in his baseball career. Driving up from the south suburbs of Chicago we had no idea what to expect. From day one the staff, coaches, but more importantly the players in your organization were great to Josh. As I watched your old school approach to coaching I knew my boy was in good hands. Todays world of travel sports is littered with teams and coaches with no focus on the importance of team , accountability, hard work , and winning. Your style of coaching produces young men with all of these qualities. I was able to hear the interaction you had with several College Coaches in regards to my son and was blown away to hear you speak on behalf of my son. I must admit , it filled me with pride knowing that you saw enough in him to speak so highly of him. As Josh looks to trade baseball for a college education, I promise he will live up to the high standards you and Hitters taught him.
Sincerely ,
Doug Currier
RJ, thank you for your passion for baseball and helping our children achieve their dreams. Your facility, staff, workouts, and leadership are second to none. Aaron had college options in the Big Ten, ACC, SEC, OVC, and Summit Conference among others because of Hitters Baseball. Your winter workouts, coaching by Tim Schultz, and training led by Brady were instrumental in Aaron's development and for that, we are grateful to you and your program.
Ben, & RJ,
Six months ago when Kam was given the offer to join the Hitters program we were both excited and honored for the opportunity. I knew that Kam would be playing competitive baseball with an organization that has a proven track record and was undeniably the best program in WI.
What I didn’t know is how much more of a experience it would be. What I mean by this is specifically how much you guys have shown a vested interest in making Kam the best he can be. Obviously the facility is second to none and that we knew but it is guys like Ben that have made this a great experience so far.
Ben your focus and attention on Kam has been felt by Kam and I. Your focus and attention specifically in helping him become a better hitter has be nothing short of awesome. I know you see 100’s of kids a week and for us to feel how much attention you have given him is sincerely appreciated. The offers to call and or text anytime with help that maybe needed shows how much you truly do care about him and that speaks volumes about you as a coach and the program you are a part of.
I know Kam will continue to grow in this environment and with this kind of support I am confident with all of the right work ethic on his part he will become the best he can possible be.
Thank you for everything so far. I am looking forward to the journey that has just begun and am proud to tell anyone that Kam is part of the Hitters baseball family.
Have a great day guys and see you soon.
John
Hello,
I just want to thank you and all of your staff for a great two days of baseball!!! I am really impressed and floored at how organized the showcase was and especially at how focused it is on the players and their learning to take the next step up in their skill level. Even more importantly, we are most thankful for you and the recruiters talking to the kids about their future and what they need to do to get to that next level not just in baseball. That type of knowledge is priceless.
Thank you again and I look forward to signing my son up for future showcases.

RJ,
I just wanted to thank you for the Winter workout program that have put together. The program is extremely well run and is without a doubt a benefit to everyone that goes through it. Ryan really enjoyed what he has learned and the new friendships that he has made and is really looking forward to getting after it with the team this summer.
Thanks again, we are grateful to be a part of the Hitters organization.

Alex has accepted an offer to play baseball for the University of Louisville. Alex verbally committed to Louisville last night (12/4/2014). We are very proud and humbled by the events and are looking forward to using this as a springboard in achieving both his academic and athletic goals.
I also want to thank you for your involvement and belief in Alex. From fielding all the emails / calls and giving Alex an opportunity to continue to grow as a ball player. I look forward to the upcoming years of continued development and growth. Again from the Binelas family…thanks.
Pete
